Thank you! My argument about Mapplethorpe was not whether he received the money from NEA but that public funds made his work available to the public! The link that Michelle provided stated publicly funded only so how the funds were used to bring his repulsive art to the public was not stated. I agree with you in that no one should have to have their taxes fund such filth!
