I think you are right, and I think this is the key point. We are not seeing a permanent change in fundamentals, but rather, a projection of deferred purchasing due to Y2K problems and global economic issues. Now the question is how efficient a discounting mechanism is the market? If the stock price crumbles it is telling us that the market has ignored growth beyond next year's projected slowdown. It will take a much brighter person than me to figure out where the price will be.
