Carmine, Read up on a few other "disaster" stories regarding other Wall Street gurus. I'll start you off with a few really big names: Ralph Acampora of Prudential Securities(?) Elaine Garzarelli, stock newsletter author and former Wall Street wizard Joe Granville (sp?), stock newsletter writer Garrett Van Waggoner (sp?), stock fund manager, Wall Street wizard Carlton Lutts, Cabot Market Letter The point is that Cramer's published wrong call puts him in some very good company. I understand that some people react very negatively to the man's persona, but over time, his market views and industry calls have been pretty accurate. Because of his personality, people tend to accentuate his mistakes, while failing to acknowledge his accomplishments. KJC
