When you call IBD, find out why they decided to eliminate information that they had published for NASDQ, to summarize several important data such as earnings and sales performance and acceleration into some secret formula to reduce it to grades of A to D.

Reminds me of grade avoidence in school: to avoid calling any student stupid, lazy or not keeping up, real grades were eliminated and reduced to bland catogories of below normal, normal and above normal. This of course eliminated the needed to measure performance or lack thereof, and areas that deserve attention.

I sure hope IBD will not adopt the next step that schools adopted to avoid giving grades: pass/fail.

Joe.
