Hi Ron,

I have no problems of taking your approach. I have already done it and put nearly all of my American dogs to sleep last year. I made a lot of money on most trades but held on too long on the dogs. I was playing the 10% rule. The sad thing is- I did not apply the rule to losers. I kept think there will be tomorrow. So the losers are way more than negative 10%. I saved only one for this coming year tax loss. There is no hurry to sell this one since it is already in the cellor.

I also found out the best way to save face is to execute electronic trades on your own. I remember I used to let some options expire rather than to salvage what's left especially those that I've bought within hours and days. Since then, I execute my orders through Schwab electronic order. No more talking to a live person(s) to sell them at teenies.

Why CNP? I looked at it several times and wound up buying ARB. I should have look less and buy ARB sooner and cheaper. Am I missing something? Let me go pull the CNP brochure out again.
