Fun on the Ascend thread: ASND reported 1&cent above expectations, while making loans to some customers. Also, whisper numbers ran as much as 3&cent higher than what Ascend reported.

Last night there wasn't a bear to be found on the Ascend thread. Of course, those pesky bears had probably been ran off a long time ago.

Anyway, look at the fulminations and lamentations (oh and I should mention that the stock dropped over 4 points today, or about 10%):

Amen my brother! Yesterday I was contemplating what I would be doing with all the new found $$$ after asnd announces their numbers. Today I am utterly speechless...What a bunch of yahoos! GO f___n ASND, GO!!!

Nikos(F'kos) stupidopolous used to be with UBS securities, he was fired and found a minimum wage job at Warburg Dillon Reed. For the level of his understanding I would n't pay him even minimum wages. This guy is clueless as far as the Networking revolution that is happening as we speak.

Today was an example of a coordinated manipulation of a stock by some analysts...."(follows with four reasons why the stock will be up 50% to 60 by the end of November...really)
