Isn't there a rule about trading within two weeks of an earnings report? This seems like a great way to get around it. Sell your shares before the deadline, then cover yourself by announcing the bad news ahead of time. Then you can't be accused of blindsiding everybody when earnings come out.

Any idea what % of Mr. Raker's holdings the 20,000 shares represents?

I've never been a very litigous person myself, but certainly I agree that what Mr. Raker did was unethical. I too was burned just a week after purchasing SEMX for many of the same reasons you did. I would love to see the Chairman eat those shares. Go get him Josh!!!
