Carmine,

For those folks with very short memories, Abby Cohen turned bearish (for the short term) in the same time period that Cramer made his call. She did a 180 immediately after the Greenspan announcement (as did Cramer). Why then, from your point of view, is Cramer so clown-like while Abby earns kudos? They both made the same short term call based on what was known at that time. There was no believable reason to expect the Fed to make the preemptive move that it did. And for what it's worth, I believe that both Abby and James made the right call. The Fed's rate lowering move may have temporarily eased the bleeding of capital in the market, but what will the longer term after-effects look like? I wish I could remember exactly which analyst made the prediction, but one of the Wall Street big boys was on CNBC touting the "Dow 6700", down to the "Dow 6500" eventually ending at around the "Dow 6435". Anyone else remember that call? Why isn't that guy being drawn and quartered? His call was worse than Cramer's call (so far).
