It's my understanding that SPYG was very dependent on the MSFT revuenue to provide operating funds over the first quarter or two while it transitioned towards its web-enabled device technology.
While this doesn't speak at all re: the progress of their R&D, to have a revenue stream in the interim is very important to the co.
What happens now - do they seek equity financing, debt financing, scale back their R&D, or possibly merge w/ a more-cash rich co.
While it has been discussed here that MSFT would not likely be interested in acquiring SPYG for its browser-related products, could they possibly be interested in the web device technology? Does the technology fit in nicely w/ that of any other cos.?
