MFI:= 100 -100/(1+NegMF/PosMF) = 100 -100*NegMF/(NegMF+PosMF); no div by 0 and calc

Bingo. I vaguely remembered that ploy from one of your reprimands to the group earlier this year, but polynomial denom. factoring faded for me years ago. Curious that Equis contradicts typ and avg. based on reading source. And to make it more confusing they don't post the final MF Index at their site, but assumed to be identical to the program help menu. I think the odds were stacked for all but the most agile on this one.

I'll run the new setup and report back on how it compares to MSWIN readings. Still sketchy on eMFI and the denom. factor modification in the backtest loop, but prolonged osmosis can't hurt after reflection during a more reasonable hour. And Tsf stuff is still in major disarray, but its next on the gotta finish up agenda.
