Hmmm... just scratching my head here.
Can't figure the damn thing out, I give up. Thought I had it figured out there for a minute, then looked at the share distribution again 155,265 GFL for every 100 GFSA GFL quoted at 3880 on JSE = US$106,328,577
That can't be right.
On the other hand GFSA on JSE quoted at 905 = US$1.60 ... makes sense
Hold it, lets start again, this is SA we're dealing with, so 155,265 = 155.265 = US$1063.29 or $10.63/share And stanbic at 1620 x 96.208 = US$275.09 or 2.75/share
So, 1.6 + 2.75 + 10.63 = 14.98, exactly where the thing was trading on Friday
They do however state that their investments should be worth 1,240 = US$2.19/share as of June 30, 1998, but the mining sector has recovered a bit since then, so could be there are worth more than that now.
Who knows. If this info helps you to make some $ you can send me $20 for the DD, if you lose some money, ah well, sorry. I'm not buying it, too confusing. |
