Daddy-oh. It is not illegal to short OCT-BB stocks. I am afraid you do not understand. Call and talk to your broker to get the details but in a nutshell: Let's say you want to short a stock that is $1. You will have to have a $5 cash position for every share you short. Good Luck Daddy Joe
