Eicon Technology has formed a partnership with Virtual Motion - Advanced
Communication Technologies (Booth: Microsoft Pavilion), a developer and
marketer of leading network software products. Through this partnership,
Eicon will supply its DIVA line of ISDN interface cards designed to enhance
Virtual Motion's Windows NT-based remote access software. Additionally,
Eicon will begin joint marketing and sales channel activities to promote
Virtual Motion's products.
Eicon's DIVA Server BRI-2M Card and PRI Card will be bundled with Virtual
Motion's Remote Access Manager software, to provide a complete software
solution specifically designed for network administrators or ISPs
responsible for running a mission-critical dial-up network based on Windows
NT. Eicon's DIVA line of ISDN interface cards provides remote access
solutions for small to large organizations by integrating digital and
analog communications capabilities on one ISDN line.
By partnering with Virtual Motion, Eicon is able to offer its easy to use
ISDN hardware integrated with its versatile Remote Access Manager software.
This will provide Eicon's customers with a powerful layer of resource
management, access control, and usage accounting for their remote access
needs.
Virtual Motion, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Berlin, Germany based
acotec - Advanced Communication Technologies, develops and markets a broad
range of RAS management, messaging, and connectivity software product
solutions for the Internet community. Virtual Motion is based in San
Francisco, Calif.
