2 cents more...

CMcD, I had a hard time understanding your comments on TSQD. Why wouldn't TSQD exercise its option to buy all those shares for a buck? TSQD's downward trajectory has everything to do with the rapid death of speculation and the very disappointing DRIV IPO. It has nothing to do with the absence of an option announcement.

Regarding DRIV...The reason DRIV is "only" 50% bigger than competitors is that the remaining "holdouts" are huge companies. DRIV has collected a large stable of relatively small software vendors with only a few standout names such as IBM and Lotus. I am sure if they added MSFT, they would be a helluva lot bigger.

I am not sure what they would do with Oracle. The programs that Oracle sells are monster enterprise programs that would take 5 years to download over a phone line. However, in a arcane little interview I think I posted about 2 months ago, a DRIV official talked about the business of using Internet to sell and download software "seats". These are licenses to use hundreds of copies of a software product. If you can sell these in volume, you can make some good coin. Perhaps that is the angle in sweet talking Oracle.
