Clarification returned:

Take 7 days like before...the up/down averages are still driven by 7 days. The weeks (days): 1 (5), 2 (10), 3 (15), 4 (20), 5 (25) that i mentioned were for historical use. If you start 25 days back (5 weeks) and get an RSI to today you will probably be within one to two pints of the #'s i have. If you take 2 weeks back, your RSI's will be way off your 5 week RSI's. This is becasue of the too huge of imporatnce placed on the last 2 weeks and not counting whatsoever what happened 3-4 weeks before(as I tried (maybe unsuccessfully)to explin in my last post).

Going by Trading for a LIving by Alexander is a good place to start (i forgot if you picked it up or not, sorry).

This is one reason why i steer clear on just posting RSI calculations (100-...) without one really reading about it, interpreting it, and getting a hang of it.

Sorry for the confusion...
