I don't know exactly who AMD is shipping the 400s to, only that they have shipped 100k's of them already. IBM is logical as it Compaq, Acer of course, CTX, Sony, Everex, Umax. OEMs love these chips because they are inexpensive and run at relatively high MHz. As far as yields...
without giving any specifics on this BB let me just say...they are "good" on the 400.
The anti-AMD crowd wants you to belive that the K6-3 is delayed...they as just holding their breath and crossing their fingers...crossing their heart and hoping not to die. <G> As a replacement for the K6-2, the K6-3 is just waiting in the wings while the K6-2 racks up MHz and some profits...Meanwhile Intel seems to be in a stupor, not knowing whether to attack the K6-2, K6-3 or the K7...
