Newbridge Networks Appoints Vice President NSA Marketing

KANATA, ONTARIO--Newbridge Networks today announced the
appointment of Kay Kienast as the new Vice President, NSA Marketing.
Ms. Kienast joins Newbridge Networks from Cincinnati Bell
Information Systems (CBIS), where she was Vice President of
Marketing. Prior to CBIS, Ms. Kienast held a number of senior
and executive marketing positions at Digital Equipment, Bell
Atlantic, Dell Computer Corporation and Unisys. She holds a
Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Kansas State
University, and a Doctorate in Education from East Texas State University.
"Kay brings an impressive record of success and accomplishments to
the marketing portfolio at Newbridge," says Alan Lutz, President
and Chief Operating Officer, Newbridge Networks. "She has
extensive experience with the communications industry and
tremendous leadership skills. Kay is a dynamic addition to the
Newbridge marketing team."
Ms. Kienast will begin her new position at the Herndon office on
November 2nd, 1998. This new appointment is further evidence of
Newbridge's commitment to build a more aggressive organization
that dominates its target markets.
