Regarding your question, Quicken has a cool new feature called "Web Entry", which I've tried out but don't use regularly. Basically, say you're in the office and you've brought in your bills from home.
Quicken gives you a free spot in a password-protected area of Quicken.Com, which your version of Quicken automatically sets up with your payees, categories and other user defaults.
You can then access your web account from work and enter your bills and other activity in your web register.
The next time you use quicken from home, it will automatically download whatever you entered from the website for you to accept or reject. Then, you would transmit the payments for processing. (The short answer being I believe you can do everything EXCEPT actually transmit the payments for processing from your remote computer - of course you can set up automatic, recurring payments thru Quicken/CF at any time from home). My guess is that over time, Intuit will provide linkage to be able to transmit the payment from a remote computer as well...
Another side topic -- One more cool thing about this personal spot on Quicken.Com -- everytime you interact thru Quicken on the web, you can choose to automatically upload your portfolio and/or stock watch lists from Quicken to your personal Quicken.com site. Once there, your portfolio is automatically updated with current prices, news, etc., allowing you to analyze the stocks you own from any computer.
