Mike just a few responses then I gotta get. That honey do list is a long one. The structure of Medinah goes to Chile LLC then Sierra la Plata. You have to be a Chile company to do business in Chile thus that arrangement. The Chile llc serves two purposes, 1) tax advantages and 2) its the mechanism used to get the money into Chile. There's something called a DL600 which list all the directors/officer types and their bank account numbers. A very tedious piece of paperwork to get approved. Chile is very concerned about money laudering and watches it very closely.
I know they have brought $$$ to their attorney down in Chile to meet contractual obligations...its a funny story but suffice it to say, whatever it takes to meet those obligations, whether stock/cash/check/visa/mastercard..whatever. You can see if you have my household budget sometimes it takes crafty manuevers to pay the bills. I'll see if they will answer 1a. I think it goes back to what I just said. We do have a contractual obligation to purchase those properties as outlined in the news releases. Those obligations are there. If you where Juan Jose and you knew what the lawsuits were all about and what potential the properties contained you would keep a warm relationship. All parties are friendly as I understand it. Just how "friendly" I don't know..that don't ask don't tell thing..lol!
AR- for now if AR confirmed it by being there looking over Gordon's shoulder or whatever so be it. I don't think they did independent analysis. They may have looked at the raw IP's which by the way measured: 450 m x 150 m up top and then opened up. I've been told looks like a pyramid. BUT lets wait to see the actually House report posted on the official Medinah website before we start trying to split hairs. Mike I would think all options are open in regards to a JV or a selling of the property, or even mining it if we have to. Suffice it to say once drills are done and cores are assayed, its a new ballgame the the stakes are higher. One of those you pay to play things. Put yourself in a "majors" shoes, and also look at their current assets/liabilites. Many would kick/claw/slaivate to have a copper/gold elephant phrophy that looks like a pyramid that obviously had surface rocks/outcroppings that flowed where? Downward right with the rainwater to where? TO THE PLACER. Thats why the alluvial gold is there at the placer. The placer has no boulders no clay no pottable water so very easy to produce. Gotta mobalize all the equipment there and get a few permits and that should be off and running. Remember this Chile reocrds have indicated a lot of good stuff was mined (while the landowner oversaw the production, but when he attended to other business the gold sorta disappeared as well)..Remember alluvial gold is very concentrated stuff. He ended up driving off of a cliff or something.
In regards to Quijano, we have the right guy on our side. The property needed to be improved in order to market. So yes he was playing real estate agent when he began improving the road system and allowing access to the property. All he was doing was making it a very marketable piece of property. Why didn't a major find it first. I believe one did but ending up going some place first (like a bunch of mice going after cheese) they left to go explore another "hot " area only to come back to little ol Medinah in their face. Hmmmmmmm
Mike number 5 is big time!!!!!
The motion to dismiss the lawsuit that basically proves that Dayton has any rightfil claim to those properties. In other words, you can't argue who the owner is or isn't when one of the players has no rightful claim that has been publically filed. I'll let you extrapolate what the ramifications are should Dayton lose. Remember this is the last judicial phase. No appeals. If Dayton never filed a claim and has no rights, then we win right. Then what else happens????? Go see lawsuit filed against Dayton, (that Dayton never filed a countersuit against...as far as I know!) and you can then tell me whether you will win that case or not. Quijano could be handing Medinah a cake about the size of Texas to the Medinah shareholders. Think about that for just a moment!
anyway damn I gotta get, see you guys probably late tonight.

:-)

p.s. 16) a referendum was voted on by the board at the last shareholder meeting and I beileve that resolution was adopted. So we will see.
