I suggest you read post #2974 where I lay out a conservative case for EMC's expected price appreciation out to the year 2001. I repeat I said conservative case.

The important point is that the market is currently valuing growth at a historically high premium. If the market takes that away and returns to the historical norm EMC may indeed see much less than the current price appreciation even if they reach their target of $10 billion revenue by the year 2001.

EMC does not trade in a vacuum. All equity pricing is relative to other investments. So don't make the mistake of assuming Wall Streets's valuation criteria will be the same in 2001.
