Yousef:

<<Why is it that the slower Celeron sells for more than the K6-2's>>

Because it is Intel.

<<Intel sells more of these than AMD sells K6-2's.>>

Last quarter AMD sold 3.8M. Intel didn't even come close on the
CeleronA.

<<I am beginning to understand why you are so "mad" at Intel ... It must "drive you crazy(ier)". >>

Not really. Intel must be more crazy about AMD than I am at Intel.
AMD is eating up Intel market share and will soon to have the world
fastest CPU. Intel won't come close till 18 months later. As I
remembered AMD had less than 2% of the retailer in 1995 and Merryl
Lynch said that AMD was finished. Today AMD holds 53% of the retail
market outpacing Intel. AMD Inside is the brand of choice. 2 years
ago Andy Grove said that sub-1000 computers don't exist. He will go
down in history as the "biggest mistake maker". So far AMD is on
track to take 30% market share and to have 18 months in technological
lead (process and design) over Intel. That my friend must hurt Intel's ego. How could the Mili Vanili outsmart the Jolly Green Giant?
