To All:

Maybe the following from TechDirect news this morning can explain some of the drop:

>>Investors resumed the recent beating PeopleSoft [PSFT] has taken in recent weeks. The software vendor slid 6 3/8 to 19 3/8 as the Nasdaq's most active stock after saying it expected fiscal 1999 growth to be in the 25 percent to 35 percent range, confirming fears of slower expansion.

PeopleSoft may have taken some other software companies down with it. J.D. Edwards & Co. [JDEC] fell 3 9/16 to 26 1/2, SAP [SAP] slid 1 1/2 to 35 3/8, and Baan [BAANF] declined 9/16 to 9 7/8. <<
