Well Jay, I dont have any kids. But if I did I would certainly tell them that lying is bad. But I also would use common sense and not present a political leader of this or any other country as some sort of moralistic patriarch, because Im a smart person and I know that political leaders and business leaders are constantly in a position where lying is necessary and most do lie.

Just as a frame of reference, I would also tell them that killing is wrong. And since President Bush was involved in a war, he would fail the moralistic patriarch test just like Clinton, so it looks like neither of those guys are acceptable role models, huh?

I wonder if Mr. Gates ever told Bill Gates it was ok to lie? Or Mike Dells father? Mike Dell is a liar you know, he lied to the DOJ regarding his abiltity provide alternative OSs on Dell machines. Lets just get a bunch of red letter "L"s (for liar) just like the scarlett letter A and pin it to the lapels of Clinton, Dell and Gates shall we? Oh and then we need an "M" (for murderer) for Mr. Bush.

Its a tough task I know but thats the only way we can save the children.

BTW I will probably tell my kids that adultery is ok if it is agreed upon between both parties.
