Private placees are confident of making money buying $2 shares.

I'm sure that the company management people who recently subscribed to private placements at $2 U.S. per share know more about the company's prospects than the rest of us. I'm also sure that they're confident their shares will grow in value. They're no doubt willing to wait a few months for several multiples of their original investment, but it seems blindingly obvious that anyone who buys shares at the current prices is in smart, well-informed company.
