Hi Joe,

Since nobody responded to your query, here's the "rumors" going around down here.

I've heard MEO's first "kimb" hit was in Township-95 & Range-20; that would put it over 100 kilometers east of the Ashton discovery block. Maybe others can "confirm" this location.

Another rumor is that MEO's geophysicists are "spotting" the borehole (discovery) locations--while Kennecott's geophysicists are concurring with MEO's selections. Apparently, the "unnamed" geologists who directed MEO's disappointing drilling-campaign of last winter have been "banished."

Regards & Good Luck,

P.S. FYI--MEO's consulting-geophysicists promised me they would try (i.e., get permission) to present the discovery-geophysics at the SEG international meeting in Calgary in November, 2000. I'm co-ordinating the AB-kimberlite presentations for the Mining Committee, hopefully Ashton and others (?) will present too.
