Handshake, I just cannot see what is going on ? That read is at best not a very well writen one if you ask me.... See they say at the end there one of the largest employ of 15,000 in 27 countries yet just pre that they state there trying to protect the 7000 employees who remain, hmmmm sounds like there going to kick 8000 out of jobs not the 700.... What I love about a large corp. is if they cannot get folks to work for .25 cents a hour there out the door. closing due to lack of a ratified labor agreement, hmmm sounds like someone never thought of that when they opened the mines. Yet if we were to look back i'll bet we see they had even a lower cost than today when that mine opened. Chile was saved as in 1999 MIDN may be ready to pick up the force of some that will be out of work. Heck DAY moved a town and look at them, doing great! Well kinda, so do you think if there are 180 miners out of work in the first qtr. of 1999 they could move in and take jobs at the new location? sounds like labor will not stop them now... They best not tell us there having a hard time finding miners to work for the firm in 1999 or this post will re-apear. hehehehe I love the part about you and the women deal... you know some day your kids will have fun reading all about you on SI, boards.
