Position Account and my homepage:

Someone emailed the following:

"I was checking out your homepage, but it took me awhile to realize
that your links are Java applets. Since I have Java turned off on my
browser, all I thought was that you had a rather sparse webpage. You
might want to try adding <A></A> tags around the link anyway for those
that disable Java in their browsers. "

On the other hand, I could just post a link to tell folks to turn Java back on...

TheOctober Position Account has only three stocks in it:

COMS, since 10/8
GE since 10/9
CPQ since 10/10

But then anything anyone accumulated since the reversal the week of 10/5 would be up. Between work and adjusting the scans and screens I really ddiin't have time to post a daily version of the position Account for this month. Prior to the 5th everything was tanking and there was no reasonable portfolio. Since the reversal point I was inundated with pm's about specific stocks and so something had to give.

I plan to start another one in Novmember, though. I'd like to stress that the purpose of posting the Position Ascount is to familiarize folks with how and why to pick stocks, how to manage the entries and exits and how to place trailing stops. I got the impression folks were just looking for the picks. Maintaining a Position Account needs to have multiple stocks (not just one - ask Rookie Dave), for risk management as well.

I'd like some input as to what you want me to do here for the next one, and how you want it posted. It does take a bit of work and I have to dedicate one account just for trading it as well as doing the accounting separate from other buys and sells...(anyone have some bread to go with my whine?). You get the idea. What is a reasonable thing to do that allows me to devote time to gaps and other things as well?
