Ten: AMD wouldn't dare sell a K6-3 that runs under 400 MHz Max: Anything under 400MHz would go into a notebook. Nice strategy isn't it? Huh? You're telling me that the K6-3 can just be underclocked and dropped into a notebook? I have a hard time believing that. Intel has different versions of Pentium II for desktops and mobile. I don't think the K6-2 with its high leakage current can just be dropped into a notebook. I would guess the same goes for K6-3. AMD would have to make a special version of the K6-3 for notebooks; they can't just take the scraps from the 400 MHz bin for their notebook line. Tenchusatsu
