Carl,

Thank you for your advice about dollar cost averaging. If one adheres strictly to the principle of buying a stock just because it is now lower without due diligence than that isn't investing, it is gambling! For instance, Western Digital was a good company that had a niche in disk drives and storage facilities. As these industries became more of a commodity product with more emphasis on price than features and others entered the market with similar products at competitive pricing the margins were bound to take a plunge unless they (WDC) could diversify into more lucrative markets.

I don't see that at all with BFT. This company is aggressively pursuing a consolidation of the health and fitness market where right now the largest chain only represents approximately 2% of the market. With Bally acquiring small 'Mom and Pop' type operations and marketing them as part of a larger 'American' presence I see this as value-added. With Bally negotiating with several large health care organizations I see diversity away from a strictly 'off the street' membership base. With positive cash flow, finally, I see less pressure with financing. Lastly, with a solid national base I see the potential for expansion into regions where they currently do not have a presence.

Good Luck,

Steve
