donald: You can drag the TaskBar off the screen the same way you size a window. If you have done that, you “must” drag it back up.

However, you may only see the top arrow when the cursor changes at the bottom of the screen. Click and hold the right mouse button to drag the TaskBar back up onto the screen.

If you have checked the auto hide box in the TaskBar Properties, TaskBar Options Tab...just move your cursor to the bottom of your screen it should come up automatically.

I suspect you accidentally dragged the TaskBar off the screen sizing a window.

There is one other possiblity, you did not click the Full Screen Icon at the top of your screen did you? If you did...click it again!
