TO ALL, 1. I sold my CompUSA Feb 20 puts and did not roll them down. That is the second third to hit a quadruple. Love this stock. I also sold my Feb 17 1/2s for a double, but I rolled down to Feb 15s. I am NOT recommending that new players jump in right now. My target has been $12 on this stock and we are too close for a starting position, IMHO. Yes, I do expect margin deterioration as the sales they made were not at great prices. But I believe we have seen the lion's share of the downside here and am only keeping a third for sentimental reasons and the fact that I believe we really will see the sub-teens on this one. But, remember, it wasn't that long ago that this dog was pushing $30 and that was when the easy money was available on CPU puts. 2. 5 Japanese cos. just announced a 1000 pct. increase in 64 Mbit capacity this year and they expect the price to reach Mbit parity with 16 Mbit chips by this summer. For some reason, that doesn't sound like good news for Micron to me. -g- Let's see, MU hasn't the facilities to mass produce 64 Mbit chips, they just spent all their money to upgrade to soon to be obsolete 16 Mbit chips, and they have to offer a billion bucks of something to stay where they are. But not to worry, Kurlak is unaware of the DRAM market, so he still loves the stock. -vbg- 3. Packard-Bell just announced a $999 120 Mhz box with monitor. Look for the stores to discount it more. Look for more price cuts. The CEO was on CNBC today and he is not calling for much price help from MMX boxes. Good luck, MB
