Can anyone tell me why technical analysis has any validity? How is it different than observing that the market goes up every time the NFC wins the Super Bowl? The only thing i can see, is that if enough people use the same TA, it becomes a self-fulfilling predictor because of selling/buying pressure caused by those who subscribe to TA? Maybe it's the MARKET that determines the Super Bowl winner. :) Anyway here we are, perched AT the 52 week high. If ever this thread was begging for guidance from the technicians, this is it. Are we at a 'breakout'? Are we at a 'top'? Technical analysts- post now or forever hold your peace. Buy and hold and just having fun, JCJ
