Clearly the market has bitten me (and probably most of US) in the butt. This is starting to really suck, because while I'm under water on just about every single position, I know that the minute I cover, the market will tank to where it belongs. Unfortuneately, most of the wall street crowd don't care that year over year, top line growth is quickly decreasing, and the majority of companies that have exceeded the estimates, have simply exceeded estimates that have been significantly reduced. To top it all off, we still have a good 2 weeks before this damned earnings season winds down. Then reality better set in or I'll be bleeding from all ends. I can't believe the run up caused by a lousy 25bp move. Has everyone lost all touch with reality? If other countries ain't buyin, what the hell are slightly lower borrowing costs going to do to improve that? There's no logic to wall street. On the bright side, once this nonsense dies down, there's going to be a vacuum of any upside momentum and hopefully we'll see 7400 before Thanksgiving. Damn I hope I'm right. Jose.
