Glen : That Fortune article on Kleiner Perkins is a real eye opener. I knew there was collaboration between internet companies, but this is amazing. It also explains the level of institutional support companies such as AMZN have been able to receive in spite of valuation concerns. Belonging to the KP network ensures rapidly growing revenues in the initial stages of the company, which helps keep the dream alive. I would guess KP and its member companies were not asking for this much attention, (especially during Microsoft's trial) as this article is certain to raise a few eyebrows.
