Anyone with the capability and desire to take someone's product from Point A to Point B is competition. The last time I was in New York, I noticed numerous such "anyone(s)". NYRR may have the most efficient and expedient method, but if there is no marketing to make potential customers aware of its presence and readiness to perform such product movement, then the phone doesn't ring. It rings at the desk of the dispatcher for Joe's All-Night Trucking and Pizza Emporium, because Joe did some marketing.
