Pat -

I would think that on-site or off-site manufacturing in the Valley
will allow them to get to modest production, which may serve their
needs for the near future. That would be plenty of time for people
now invested in Amati to make a handsome profit and to move on. In the
very long term, ADSL modems will become commodity items with most of
the sales going to traditional modem manufacturers like USRX and MOT,
IMO. I'm not sure where that will leave Amati.

Just a further question. Why are people so talkative on this thread?

(1) The speculative nature of the stock leads to lots of speculation?
(2) The upside potential of the stock leads to lots of dreaming?
(3) The entity has nothing better to do?
(4) Amati's stealth marketing leaves others to spread info?

Just wondering -
Rob
