Stak, Re: "What does your crystal ball tell you for the 4th qtr. and 1st qtr. of '99? Does
Celeron come storming back?"

Does Celeron come storming back? Do you mean continue to come storming back? In the conference call, Intel said the new Celerons, now with 128KB on chip L2 caches, are selling at four times the rate of the original Celerons. I'd say that's stormin', Norman. About 4Q98, again from the conference call, Intel said there was strong momentum of sales "spilling over" from the end of 3Q98. I am guessing that 4Q is in the bag. For 1Q99, or any part of 1999, Intel declined to comment, as I interpreted the conference call. I think that was the major reason the world didn't jump all over the stock, what with a very strong 3Q98 and prospects for same for 4Q98.
