Joe, Have you considered of reducing your cost basis by writing options? There is a good article in the lastest "Individual Investors" about this. Just remember that earnings is coming up Nov. 12 and Dell has not disappointed the street with its earnings. The chances are great that we will see a surge of Dell in 3 weeks. If you want to buy Dell at a cheaper price, consider selling Nov 55 puts. If not assigned, you keep the premium (I do expect that Dell will close above 55 come Nov 20st so the premium is "free money").
