Kaiser says Snap Lake resource gets a boost Winspear Resources Ltd WSP Shares issued 32,806,333 Oct 21 close $1.62 Thu 22 Oct 98 In the News John Kaiser, writing in an Oct. 20, 1998 Bottom-Fish Tracker, says the price of Winspear Resources, then $1.76, has been boosted by a growing realization that there may be much more to the Snap Lake diamond prospect than was thought previously. Mr. Kaiser most recently recommended the stock on Oct. 7 at $1.13, while four earlier recommendations range from a high of $3.61 in February 1997 to a low of 52 cents in June 1998. In the current report, the California stock picker says buried in Winspear's recent technical assessment was significant news that the Snap Lake dyke system exists north of Snap Lake and more than two kilometres east of a known outcrop on the northwest peninsula. As a result, this dyke system, which before held the possibility of hosting an economic dyke-style mine, may contain at least five to 10 million tonnes of kimberlite -- and possibly much more. Mr. Kaiser adds that his previous $5 to $10 target could simply become a stepping stone to much higher prices.
