I have a nice little paper loss on my Cymer short, so far. The bid volume has been large with respect to the ask volume. I think the company is buying it's stock right now. I don't think anybody else is involved, except for some shorts covering and small investors. It just does not seem to me like the "buyer" cares too much about what price he pays. Someone buys 5,000 shares, the price goes up, and the cycle repeats itself.
