bp - I don't have it close at hand, but there is already case law covering murder of a fetus in an act that brought about the death of the pregnant woman. If I recall, the baby was delivered, the mother died and the infant was determined to have been fatally injured while in the womb. Can't recall the outcome of the case, but you are right - we're going to face some very troubling issues about life in the coming years.
