I do have a certain visceral distaste for hatred being preached in the name of Christianity, Me too. My biggest problem (recently) is that the high tech businesses around here claim to not be able to hire enough workers and have chosen to lobby republicans for an increase in H1-B visa quotas. Most of these workers are from India in my estimation but there are many countries represented - generally Asian countries. Christians are a tiny minority where I live and getting smaller due to this situation with importing foreign workers. Meanwhile the republicans are campaigning in Christian churches where the entire congregation is composed of white people - a tiny minority of the general populus here. I guess the republicans think that once all the Buddhists they have imported see the light of Christianity they will all convert? Well Gee, why wouldnt they think that, after all thats what happened when we brought over all the slaves from Africa 250 yrs ago right?
