Maybe they are close to the spin-off. We all know that CSMA by itself is almost worthless and that the revenues will follow Ad-Hatters and Enviro-Tec.My guess is the MM's are anticipating the stock's value before the company confirms the distribution date for the spin-off shares. (They said it would be "around" the 20th of October.)
Good call, Gary! I recently e-mailed Mike Millis, he sent me this reply today:
To: irvinecapcom@worldnet.att.net > Subject: Question about CSMA > Date: Tuesday, October 20, 1998 3:47 PM > > Hi, Mike! > My name is Rick Williams, and I am a CSMA stockholder. PLEASE REFER TO THS MOST RECENT PRESS RELEASES AND SHAREHOLDER LETTER. THE COMPANY WILL BE ISSUING REPORTS ON WHATEVER REGULAR BASIS THEY CHOOSE AND I HAVE NOT YET BEEN APPRISED HOW THAT IS TO BE HANDLED. > > Thanks for your time. > > Rick Williams
Mike seemed a little tense. I wonder if he wishes he had never heard of this little stock. Of course, I might be wrong, but all-caps always makes me think a person is yelling or uptight.
I didn't to think about the new symbols...we ought to hear about that soon. Not crucial to me, since I won't be able to do anything with the stock for a year, anyway.
Golly, CSMA at a nickel! Well, beats the penny it might have sold for yesterday...MM's must be having mercy on us.
Here's to better days! |
