Brian, I was referring specifically to AMAT's stock price action, not to the overall stock market. I could detect no general market component today that would have caused an 8+% AMAT "price spike" in 1 1/2 hours. Why was AMAT singled out for that type of rise when the DOW, for example, was up only one-tenth of one percent for the day? IMO, G-span and the boys had nothing to do with it. Ice
