Mike,

I have my WFC puts already, but I am looking at BT also. What do you make of this craziness from thestreet.com?

Traders said the experience of Bankers Trust
(BT:NYSE) epitomized the current environment.
Bankers Trust posted a third-quarter loss of $4.98
a share but closed up 2.1% on the session.

"The earnings were a disaster but people are
thinking, 'This is the worst they could hurl,'" said
one market veteran, who requested anonymity.
Bankers Trust has also become a "takeover
play,"
the trader noted, suggesting the recent
merger activity is "forcing people to reevaluate
that stocks are a buy."
