Consider INKT Inktomi is releasing 1.1 million shares from lock up on October 28, 1998. This will increase the float from 2.3 mil to 3.4 mil and allow the relatively large short position of 1.2 mil to possibly cover. biz.yahoo.com The company is also registering to sell another 3.0 mil shares to the public. 2.7 mil is expected to come from shareholders. biz.yahoo.com The revenue and losses were in line or a little better than the estimates. But INKT is still going for a little less than 100 times trailing revenue at current price levels. biz.yahoo.com I am unfortunately underwater -- short at 79 on INKT.
