Why are you trying to distinguish between refrigerators or cryogenic coolers? These are not devices which you use in your kitchen. They have to be reliable with minimum number of moving parts and use different refrigerants. Conductus intends to use CTI-cryogenics products. CTI-Cryogenics is a subsidiary of Helix Technology, a leader in cryogenics technology for semiconductor industry. I think I picked up the news on Dow Jones news, which you can access on Prodigy and Compuserve.
