*****OT***** Hi Michael:
Nice to get a chance to chat with you! I missed Abby's comments; intriguing! As Ike has stated so often, sentiment is truly a driver of markets both here and abroad. Mrs. Cohen has held a steadfast view for sometime. In the very least she deserves credit perseverance. I hope her optimism proves correct.
Thankyou for providing your web site! I will be anxious to investigate, as I am always looking to enhance my education in this great game of trading. I assume you daytrade yourself? Seems to me daytrading has really evolved over the past few years. Elder's book, "Trading for a Living", has been the most useful to me! I've had several great trades tell me psychology is 90% of the battle.
Ike has proved to be calming voice for me! He stands firmly behind his theory, and does not let emotions rule his world! It's certainly difficult to learn that trait, but necessary to become successful! While the majority of posters on SI were bearish a few weeks ago, Ike exploited the bears to no end. For those of us who follow this forum, it was the opportunity of a lifetime! Nice to find someone so willing to share his wealth of knowledge with no strings attached!
So your sticking to the short-term. I bet this mentality saved you a lot of heartache over the past few months? That is one thing I enjoy about my trading capital, it's always the same in the morning as it was the previous night! Those gaps can be vicious! So you don't favor leaps right now? I accumulated many during the September fire sale. To each his own I guess.
Anyway, thanks for the note and link to your site! I'll check it out tonight! Best of luck in your trading!
Best Regards,
Kevin |
