I am pumped tonight. QCharts has finally added some technical indicators. I now have Stochastics, MACD, the works. I am hoping to be able to add Stochastics to my method to help better interpret my buy and sell signals. I am hoping that they will improve my batting average in terms of signaling whether or not the expected move will be just a point or two, or more than that. I have no idea yet whether or not it will help, but it certainly cannot hurt.

Being somewhat a novice at technical indicators, if anyone has suggestions as to which ones are better for short term trading or what parameters to use, please offer up some ideas. In the meantime I will muddle through as best I can. The reason I picked Stochastics is that I believe an Oscillator for short term movements will probably be best.

Suggestions are very welcome from all. This is fun.
