I'll tell you why... Because right now, a child is sick in a hospital bed waiting for a bone marrow transplant, his parents are worried because no doner has been found. Because right now a man is answering the door to be told by the police his wife and daughter were killed by a drunk driver. Because right now a little boy is laying on the ground holding his abdomen because he was beaten by a gang of bullies. Because right now a woman is being beaten by the man who promised to love and cherish her. Because right now a man is putting a gun to his head, because he can't pay his bills. Because right now, a boy wonders if anyone will ever adopt him Because right now a litle girl thinks she is too ugly to ever be loved. Because right now two little children think it is their fault that mommy and daddy are fighting again. Because right now a women is being attacked on her way home from work. Because right now a man is being hurt because of the colour of his skin. Because right now a dog sits in the yard wondering why no one plays with him anymore. Because right now a line at a soup kitchen wonders if this is as good as it gets. Because right now a man just burried his parents. Because right now the bank just foreclosed on someones house. Because right now a murder will happen. Because right now someone is getting fired. Because right now someone is having a heart attack. Because right now a child is being born. Because right now a daughter is graduating. Because right now two people are getting married. Because right now a cure is being found. Because right now a life is being saved. Because right now someone just volunteered. Because right now someone is daring to hope. Because right now someone is falling in love. Because right now someone is bringing their child to school for the first time. Because somewhere a 50th wedding abbiversary is being celebrated. Because life is a series of events that become memories.All we are in the end, is what we remember. Why. Because you could be making fond memories. That is why.
